Sande Jean Baptiste is the 6th Accountant General in MINECOFIN (Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning, Republic of Rwanda) with effect from 18th October 2024. Prior his appointment, he served as Chief Finance Officer in Rwanda Finance Limited (RFL/KIFC) from October 2019 to October 2024, Public Accountant Team Leader in the Office of Accountant General from January 2015 to September 2019, Revenue Accountant in Rwanda Revenue Authority from January 2014 to December 2015, Accountant in University of Rwanda (former National University of Rwanda) from May 2009 to September 2013. Sande Jean Baptiste is a chartered Accountant, an active member of ACCA and iCPAR. He has Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting Sciences and Master Degree in Sciences of Finance.
