Technical Committee
The Technical Committee provides professional and technical guidance to the African Association of Accountants General (AAAG). It reviews key issues in public financial management, supports the development of standards and best practices, and ensures the Association’s programs meet the needs of Member States. Through oversight on research, peer learning, capacity building, technical assistance and expert input, the Committee plays a central role in advancing AAAG’s mandate to strengthen accounting and reporting across Africa.
Finance and Strategy Committee
The Finance and Strategy Committee oversees the financial management and long-term direction of AAAG. It reviews and advises on budgets, work plans, and resource mobilization, ensuring the Association remains financially sustainable. It also monitors implementation of the strategic plan, aligning resources with priorities to deliver maximum impact for Member States and partners.
Audit and Risk Management Committee
The Audit and Risk Management Committee provides independent oversight of AAAG’s governance, risk management, and internal controls. It reviews financial statements, audit reports, and compliance with policies, ensuring the Association operates with transparency, accountability, and integrity. The Committee fosters trust among members, partners, and stakeholders by upholding high standards of corporate governance.
