Strategic Plan

The AAAG Strategic Plan (2024–2028) presents a focused roadmap to strengthen public financial management in Africa. Building on the transition from a regional to a continental body, AAAG seeks to advance sound fiscal governance, transparency, and accountability. This plan prioritizes four key result areas: effective accounting and reporting, impact-driven training and capacity building, collaboration and partnership for co-creation, and institutional strengthening and sustainability. These pillars guide AAAG’s strategy until 2028, aiming to build resilient financial systems, promote innovation, and support Africa’s sustainable socio-economic development.
