Dr. Precious Mugumbate is a senior public sector finance professional with experience in public financial management, IPSAS implementation, financial reporting, institutional capacity building and governance reform.
Before joining AAAG, Dr. Mugumbate served in Zimbabwe’s Ministry of Finance, Economic Development and Investment Promotion, where she provided strategic and technical leadership to the national IPSAS implementation programme.
She combines strong technical accounting expertise with practical experience in training strategy, curriculum development, mentoring, monitoring and evaluation of learning impact, and professional development pathways. Her expertise helps in translating complex public sector accounting requirements into practical, scalable learning solutions that strengthen transparency, accountability and fiscal discipline.
Dr. Mugumbate holds a Doctor of Business Administration, a Master’s degree in International Trade Policy and Trade Law, and an Honours degree in Accountancy. She is a Public Accountant affiliated with Public Accountants and Auditors Board (Zimbabwe), Institute of Chartered Accountants in Zimbabwe and a member of the PAAB Public Sector Accounting Standards Panel (PSASP).
